At Spice of Africa, customer satisfaction is our number one priority. We want you to be satisfied with and feel confident while shopping with us. Please take a moment to read our policy as shown below to ensure complete satisfaction. Please call or email if you have an issue. Jewelry may be returned in original condition within two weeks of receipt for a full refund or exchange. (customer pays return shipping. There is no restocking fee.)
Credit Card Information
For your protection, we permanently delete your credit card number from our server once the transaction has been processed. Our system is set up in such a way that once your credit card has been charged, your credit card number record is instantly deleted from our server; leaves only the last 4 digits of your credit card number for identification purposes. You may be assured that NO record of your credit card number is permanently stored in any form including off-line! Please be assured that we have taken maxmum security measures to protect your personal information. If you still feel unsafe to disclose credit card details online, you still have the option of contacting our customer representative by phone or faxing the information to us.
Do you accept mail orders? Do you accept money orders or check as payment? Yes, we accept mail orders paid by money orer or check. However, check orders will not ship until the check clears. It is preferred that you send in a money order for prompt shipment.
Do you have a printed catalog available?
To keep your costs low, product information is available online at this time.
We recognize your right to Internet privacy and security. The information that you provide to us will only be used solely for our purposes, to gather informtaion about you so that we might be able to further personalize our service to you as well as customize our services in order to serve you better. We may, however, use third parties to aid us in providing great service to you, such as payment processing, mail delivery and fulfiling of orders etc. If in the necessary event that your personal information is provided to third parties, we assure you that such information will be handled in the strictedst confidence.
With your permission we collect e-mail addrsses from visitors and customers who prefer to receive information on Spice of Africa promotions, sales, discounts, and lucky draw prizes via email. Your e-mail addresses are kept in an internal list and will not be revealed to other parties.
Spice of AFrica, Inform-a-Friend service allows you tell your friend about our product and services. This service will request for your name and your friend’s e-mail address in order for us to automatically generate an invittion e-mail to our site. Your friend can always opt to remove his/her e-mail address from our database if he/she does not wish for further notifications from us.
Shipping & Sales Tax
We process all orders within 24 hours upon receipt. Please note we transfer the shipping costs to you. We do not charge extra for shipping and handling, so be assured that you pay the minimum costs incurred for shipping. Please not that it might take longer during peak seasons to process and ship orders. In the event that an item is out of stock, or requires a longer lead time, you will receive an email notification from Spice of Africa informing you about the delay.
Ground shipping takes 2-7 days in ADDITION to the the time it takes to physically package and ship your order (hand over to the carrier). 3rd Day Shipping takes 3 full business days to arrive after shipment. 2nd Day Shipping takes 2 full business days to arrive after shipment. Overnight Shipments will arrive the next business day. Business days do NOT include Saturdays or Sundays. No shipments are made Saturdays or Sundays. Saturday delivery is available on certain items at extra charge and on special requests only (contact a representative to see if it’s available)
Easy Return Policy
We take great pride in assuring the quality of our products and services. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, we offer a 14-Day Money-Back Gurantee on African Art Products, so you can simply return the merchandise tous and we will give you a choice of refund, replacement or exchange for your purchase. Kindly let us know the reason for your dissatisfaction as it will help us to improve our products and services in the future. Please note: Certain items are marked as non-returnable, refundable, and/or exchangeable. 14-Day money back guarantee does not apply to these marked items.
How to return, replace or exchange an item
If you’d like to return a product, please contact a customer service representative first to get return authorization. You hav the following choices when you decide to return any shipment:
Refund- total refund minus any shipping costs (Prorated refund for shipping charges if an item is broken or damaged.) Please allow 3 working days for processing
Replacement- we will ship the replacement within 3 working days
Credit- we will issue you a gift certificate for the amounth, and you’ll be able to redeem it at any time. We are unable to offer you any form of refund after 14 days. Please note that you’ll be responsible for the payment of shipping and insurance of the returned items.
Return of Credit
We will refund the full order amount minus shipping upon receipt of your item (s). Please allow up to 2 weeks to process the return and credit the balance back into your credit card especially around the holidays.
Terms & Conditions
Spice of Africa invests a lot of resources to provide current and accurate information for all customers. We make every attempt to update our site with changes in pricing or availability once we are notified by our family members and others in the chain of supply. We will notify you prior to processing any order of any changes in availability or pricing. In any case, you will always have the choice to cancel the order if the availability or pricing has changed and you no longer wish to receive the order.
Our inventory constantly changes, and while Spice of Africa is technologically sophisticated, but in certain cases errors, such as but not limited to, omissions, misprints, or delayed data (such as but not limited to data from members) may occur. We reserve the right to correct all and any orders with any errors expressed or implied prior to accepting and/or scheduling them for delivery. In any case, we will notify you prior to shipping any major changes with your order.
