Millions of children in Kenya and around the world never get the opportunity to have real toys. The Toys4Kids program was created to put Toys in the hands of children and smiles on their faces. To make this happen, we need your help. We collect and distribute new and gently used Toys such as dolls, cars, board games, puzzles, soccer balls etc…. to children in Kenya. While our initial focus is on Toys, Educational Materials such as Pencils, Erasers, Pens, Excercise Books, and Book Bags, are also urgently needed.
Our to trip to Kenya in September 2011, we partnered with Mama na Watoto,a local non-profit organization, and the process to start a library and community center in Gachie Village was began. We currently have 30,000 donated books, school desks, clothing items and furnishings to start the center. However, Mama na Watoto needs to raise funds to ship these gifts to the village.
